To determine the number of licences you require, simply add together all PC's and Servers onto which you are planning to install the relevant Vector product components.

It does not matter which component of a product you have installed on a particular PC or Server. Every PC and Server on which the products, or part of the products, are installed must be licensed, but you can install as many components as you like on a particular machine and move them around as many times as you like, as long as the total number of machines doesn't exceed the license.

Exceptions:

• Application Provisioning (streaming) is licensed per desktop PC and has a minimum number of licenses. Contact us for more information:

• The Helpdesk module (part of Vector IT Service Management) is sold on a concurrent-use basis (floating licenses). With concurrent licensing you do not need a license for every user who will use Helpdesk, but only for the maximimum number of simultaneous users (users logged on at the same time).
  Note the 'submit-only' view does not count as a license.
