Vector AM for Application Management enables organizations to centralize the delivery, installation, and management of software applications and updates. Whether your goal is to implement and maintain applications through a traditional "push-based" software deployment approach or by providing self-service capabilities through the deployment of software on-demand ("pull-based" access), Vector AM for Application Management streamlines the process and significantly lowers administration by as much as 90 percent.

Traditional "Push-Based" Software Deployment Vector AM for Application Management provides electronic software deployment that automates the delivery and installation of applications throughout the enterprise. It permits IT departments to centrally control the deployment of applications on desktops and servers in an automated and efficient manner throughout the enterprise.

The ability to deploy applications on-demand puts users in-charge of which applications they need to do their job. Vector AM for Application Management streams applications from a central server out to local and remote PCs on-demand, where they are executed using local client resources just like conventionally-installed applications. An application is only installed if the user has been granted rights and then only if the user has requested it. The net result is lower TCO through less licenses and administration.

This complete software deployment solution can ensure that the latest service packs and security updates are installed to every PC and server on the network.
